About Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test (RPET) :-
Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test (RPET 2011) test is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University which was established in 2005. This Pre-Entrance Test is basically conducted for the students who are aspiring to take admission to courses like engineering, pharmacy and architecture. All colleges and institutions in Rajasthan accept this test ranking for admission to various courses like engineering, architecture.
Reservations of the seats are done in accordance with the directives of the Government of Rajasthan. Reservation accorded is 16% for SC, 12% for ST, 21% for OBC, 3% for Physically Handicapped, 25% for Women and 3% for dependents of Defence Killed / Ex-Servicemen and 5% for the Kashmiri Migrant candidates. A certain percentage of seats are reserved under the domicile criteria for the candidates belonging to the state of Rajasthan.
